Will give you a quick update on where we are now :
Pre-Bridal
Rannet and I went to finalise our package and paid our deposit for our pre-bridal shots !! :) Gosh, we are both pretty excited. Am picking my gowns on the 9th of May 2007 and are shooting is on the 15th of May 2007 ! We checked out a lot of bridal studios and finally decided on Vougue. We love their work, and pricing is reasonable too. Hope to post more updates with pictures on the gowns selected :)
Cards
We've picked and designed our own cards which resembles our theme colours. It's simple and easy to differentiate the two events.
Rannet & I finalised on the design & look we wanted --> Mom did the copy --> Dad did the translation to Tamil --> Rannet's parents checked and made some suggestions --> Tamil copy was proof read by Uncle Chellus --> Racheal akka gave some suggestions --> All changes have been finally made to the copy --> I prepared the layout --> Am waiting for final approval by all before it's sent for printing !
We are happy with the look, and hope it turns out well. Clement did give us a good price for the cards !

Photographer / Videographer
After much sourcing, we have finally picked our photographer and videographer! It's Neur Maya - they are very accommodating :) We like their work and service. Rannet and I met them last Saturday and paid them to book the date ! They will be taking the photographes and the video for both the events. On top of that, they are giving us our personal website on the wedding AND they agreed to do our multimedia presentation that will be screened during the events. I told them the idea we had and they were quite impressed! Am glad they liked our idea. Hope it turns out well ..
Wedding Attires
Well, this was one thing we settled very fast. Aunty Rani, my mom, Rannet and me went one Monday morning to Klang and got the wedding saree, the thanksgiving saree and both the bridesmaid sarees. Pheeww .. one thing settled !
Now, it's Rannet's turn to get his sherwani and to sew his suit :)

Caterer & Deco
Our caterer is Rannet's relative - so they are giving us a good price. We may hire them for decorations too. The menu seems interesting. Dad's busy settling things with the caterers for the Taiping event. Hope everyone would enjoy the meals at both the events.
Make-up
Pei Chyi introduced me to Hanna Liew, and last Saturday I had the chance to meet her. She's pretty nice and is giving me a good package for make-up and hairdo for me, the bridesmaids and my mom ! Haven't had the trial yet - will take pictures then !
Wedding Thali
Aunty Rani has purchased the thali kodi. And Aunty Rani wanted me to have a look at Aunty Vasantha's thali design to see if I like it - and I did ! So that's how it's going to be - a heart with a cross in it :)

Best Man - Edward Anna (Rannet's BIL)
Bridesmaid - Sangee (my sis)
Groomsman - Sam (my bro)
Flower Girl - Gloria (Gandhy's 2nd daughter)
Paige Boy - Yazdi (Arul akka's son)
We'll I think that's all we have done so far. We still have to finalise the floral arrangements, cakes, wedding favours, rings, programme book, etc .. a lot more to do .. !!
